BPL preparation in full swing

BPL event management company Game ON has confirm everything going in right way to organize Bangladesh first ever domestic T20 tournament, in a press conference.

Anjon Ganguly, Managing Director of Game On has said, The procedure for Ticketing, Foreign registration and Team auction date has been finalised. Team auction will held at Dhaka Westin Hotel on10th Jan. 7 team has confirmed their interest and bought auction form. Minimum auction rate is USD 1 million.


123 Foreign player has shown interest to participate in this tournament primarily. BCB will select 80 player among 123 player in foreign quota. Another 80 Player will also be available from bangladesh as local player in the auction. Every team will buy 18 players for their team (9 local and 9 foreign player). Through Highest number of foreign player can participate in each game has been limited to 5. Auction ceremony for the player will be held on 19th Jan 11 AM at Raddison Water Garen or  Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel. 

So far grading for the foreign players has been finalised. Price for the local player will be confirmed on 7th Jan at BCB governing body meeting. There are three grade among all the player - A, B and C. Base price for player in auction will be

• A Grade - USD 1 Lac
• B Grade - USD 50 Thousand
• C Grade - USD 25 Thousand

Theme Songs will be unveiled through a concert  in Cox's Bazar on 13 Jan. India's prominent Song writer and music Director Bappi Lahiri is doing the Theme song for BPL.

Ticket selling will be started 10 day before BPL opening.
