BPL Update: After all the drama

Okay! Yesterday was the day full of drama, suspense and marathon meetings!! Only one reason was behind all these, that was "TOP 4" spot. Who is going to play semi-finals!! was the question of the day. Durontu Rajshahi booked their ticket to semi-final without any equation game. Other teams had 'if' in their mind. Dhaka Gladiators and Royal Bengal Khulna also booked their place afterwards. Then real drama unfolded. Barisal Burners thought their calculated win against Chittagong Kings within 16 overs will give them a place in top 4. Because, that win placed them in 4th place according to run rate. However, BPL technical committee declared that Chittagong Kings will go in to Semi Finals. According to BPL rules, 
If any two teams has same points after group stage then confirmation will be made bt head to head results of the teams. (The team that has more wins will go through). 


Chittagong Kings has 3 wins against Barisal Burners. In this case Chittagong has got the 4th spot.
